Celebrate Give Kids A Smile Day with DStv

Channel 104 on DStv

DStv is celebrating Give Kids A Smile Day on 5 February in the best way possible: by making more children smile with the ultimate kid’s entertainment!

Liz Dziva, MultiChoice Zimbabwe’s Public Relations Publicity Manager said  Give Kids A Smile Day is all about making sure children have access to the right dental care so that they have more reasons to smile. At DStv, we think everyone deserves to smile, which is why our premium kid’s content ranges from educational and science-based programming to entertaining and fun shows.

Our recipe for making kids smile? Make sure your children brush their teeth properly twice a day, see a dentist at least once a year, and turn to DStv for the best smile-worthy shows.

“Whether you’re at home, in the car, or waiting for an appointment, with the DStv App you can access your kids’ favourite movies and series and put smiles on their faces wherever you may be” said Dziva.

6 shows and movies that’ll make your kids smile

  1. Toy Story 4

For years, Woody and Buzz have been entertaining children with their adventures and mayhem. In the fourth instalment of the beloved award-winning movie series, the toys need to deal with a new “toy” joining the gang – Forky.

Will they be able to get over their egos and welcome the latest misfit to their group? Find out on 5 February at 15:20  on M-Net Movies 1, DStv Channel 104.

  1. Hey Duggee

Duggee the dog encourages children to try new things by giving them badges for learning skills. Your kids can enjoy double-bill episodes from Seasons One and Two, featuring The Jam Badge, The Super Squirrel Badge, and The Omelette Badge. Once you’re all caught up with the adventure and learning opportunities, you can look forward to new episodes of Hey Duggee towards the end of the month.

What will Duggee and the squirrel gang get them to try this time? The series starts on 5 February at 11:50  on CBeebies, DStv Channel 306.

  1. Ninjago

Join Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Lloyd, and Nya as they fight to keep the peace in the land of Ninjago. This Lego-inspired series features the classic tale of good versus evil and packs all the adventure you’ve come to expect when thinking of ninjas and Lego.

Catch all of the action on 6 February at 9:45 CAT on Cartoon Network, DStv Channel 301.

  1. Mush-Mush and the Mushables

Follow the journey of the pint-sized Guardians of the Forest, the Mushables, as they use their special gifts to fight off evil forces and keep the forest safe. As they take on each adventure, they discover new and exciting things about themselves – and one another – in the process.

Join in on the action on 5 February at 16:15  on Boomerang, DStv Channel 302.

  1. Did you know?

Separate fact from fiction in the world of science with Did You Know?. Discover the latest tech developments and research, going behind the scenes to find out more about the world around us.

Unleash your inner scientist on 5 February at 20:00  on Da Vinci, DStv Channel 318.

  1. Cats & Dogs

We all know that dogs and cats are mortal enemies, so what happens when a tech war rages between the two species? A battle for world domination of course! When a potential cure for dog allergies is developed, the cats must do everything in their power to destroy it.

Will Mr Tinkles be able to lead his feline friends to victory? Find out on 5 February at 3:05  on M-Net Movies 4, DStv Channel 108.
